Safe Harbor

I was a mosaic of broken pieces, a melody written in minor keys. I thought my heart spoke only in loss, until you learned to speak it. You didn’t just bring me light; you became the calm where my own could rise again. You carried my scars not as flaws, but as maps of where I’d been— living proof that I survived. With every quiet patience, you helped me turn the past into the prologue of our future. Thank you for being my safe harbor, my soft landing, my greatest gift. You didn’t just love me— you taught me to return to myself, and to love what I found there. -- by Fitri Wulandari
